it looks that way ....
maybe a baby raven?
.... if it is a raven, then, it is not a baby but a very old one, observed it to be a slow mover as it woke up by my disturbance, but am not very sure though.
it's feathers looked like that of a baby to me!
aah it looks a bit older now! Sorry, still have no clue as to what it is though x
maybe, somebody around will come up and identify it, will be looking around for possible informations too .... let us wait and see ....

It's possibly a bird not seen in New Zealand.
Maybe a German blackbird or raven.
Maybe Google will help you with Images of 'Birds of the world' or something like that. What about 'Black feathered birds'............................
Have found some links but does not shows similarities .... maybe it is an old sick raven or crow
.... the wings are not long enough, wonder though ....

I looks like a Jackdaw a member of the crow family.. look at the angle of its head and then search google for a Jackdaw wiki is best ![]()
